Faded Floral is a washed, low-contrast floral, printed to look as though it has already softened with age rather than arriving bright from the bolt.

That muted palette is what makes it useful. A saturated floral back can overwhelm a reproduction or civil war quilt; this one settles behind it. It also works well on a quilt intended as an heirloom, where the back will be seen as often as the front.
